TRUCK DRIVER

Davie, FL 33330

 

Summary: Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience. You must be able to pass a background check, MVR and drug test. All candidates will perform a skills verification test on site before hire.

 

Qualifications:

  • Load and unload cargo.

  • Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.

  • Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.

  • Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.

  • Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.

  • Follow all applicable traffic laws.

  • Inspect their trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.

  • Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.

  • Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.

  • Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order

  • Must have a valid issued Driver’s License.

  • 3 years of commercial driving experience



 

LANDSCAPER

Davie, FL 33330

 

Summary: Candidate must have a valid drivers license. Needs to have at least two years landscaping experience. Must know how to operate all commercial landscaping equipment. Must be flexible to work some Saturdays.


 

Qualifications:

 

  • Performs landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning.

 

  • Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers.

 

  • Performs landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding.

 

  • Addresses clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Team Leader as appropriate.

 

  • Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available.

 

  • Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader.

 

  • Applies chemicals under the direction of a licensed applicator, and with all required protective equipment.

 

  • Performs other duties as required


 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED (or current student status)

 

  • One year experience in this or a related field is required.

 

  • Valid Driver's License with clean record.

 

  • Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime.

 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature.
